As soon as Sally and Graeme’s enquiry came through for their Gosford House Wedding Videography I could not wait to film at this spectacular venue. The building alone is out of this world, then the interior hallway is like no other hallway I have ever seen. Then you see the location, overlooking the Forth of Firth and it’s impossible not to be absolutely blown away by Gosford House.
I started the day at Gosford House to capture some early morning drone footage and the team setting up the venue, all part of the storytelling I love to feature in my films. It was a short 10 minute drive to meet up with Graeme and his friends at a local hotel in Berwick for the groom preparation before driving to the Leuchie Walled Garden for Sally’s preparations. Once both Sally and Graeme were ready we all returned to Gosford House, now bathed in beautiful September sun. Sally’s father drove her in his convertible up the long drive to Gosford House for their beautifully personal wedding ceremony.
One of the best confetti shots of the year followed before drinks and oysters in the Main Hall at Gosford House. The speeches also took place in the Main Hall, and looking at the footage, it is easy to see why! What a spectacular setting for speeches and I would strongly recommend doing the same for your Gosford House wedding. After the wedding breakfast it was into the evening party, which was energetic from the off. I absolutely loved my first time as a Gosford House wedding videographer, Sally and Graeme’s day was one of the best weddings I have filmed and I cannot wait to return to such a beautiful venue.
