Viv and Josh’s Tithe Barn at Bolton Abbey wedding took place on one of the hottest days of 2022 at the beautiful Tithe Barn in North Yorkshire. It’s wonderful venue, an exclusive use, luxury wedding venue set within the vast Bolton Abbey Estate, alongside the River Wharfe and overlooking the ruins of the Priory Church.  The Tithe Barn is run by the top class team at Cripps & Co (who look after a number of luxury wedding venues throughout the UK) and it’s the perfect venue for a large wedding celebration, with capacity for 200 day guests and up to 300 people for the evening reception. 

Viv and Josh got ready close together at Bay Tree Cottages, just outside of Harrogate which as ideal for easily covering both sets of preparation. It was my first time working alongside Kel and Paul from Paul Joseph Photography and what a pleasure it was to work with them both. Easy going, collaborative and fun, I hope to be shooting alongside Kel and Paul again soon!

From preparation it was a short drive over to The Tithe Barn for Viv and Josh’s wedding ceremony. The drinks reception was all outside before the feast and speeches inside the barn. With the sun setting over the hills, Kel, Paul, Viv, Josh and myself took a short drive to grab some clips out on the hills before we returned for the party with the brilliant Mr Wilson’s Second Liners who entertained late into the evening. 

Viv and Josh’s Tithe Barn wedding videography was a wonderful wedding day, as always, the staff at the Tithe Barn were super helpful and accommodating and I look forward to returning in 2023 and 2024.
