Luxury Marquee Wedding Videography in Cheshire
“Where to begin – we are over the moon with the videos, James captured us and the wedding perfectly and we thoroughly enjoyed working with him. From start to finish, he made the process seamless, the highest quality of work, professional and we couldn’t recommend using his services more. Thank you James – you really are the best.” – Lily & Joe.
Lily and Joe’s wedding will always be a very special one for myself. Firstly it was a wonderful wedding, filled with love, humour, great music and a group of incredibly welcoming people who made me feel at home all day long. Preparation and the the reception were held in the grounds of Lily’s family home in Cheshire, with a strong Caribbean theme running throughout the day. Glorious summer sunshine provided the perfect light for an evening drinks reception after the 4pm church service, with guests enjoying canapes and drinks whilst a steel band played, with fantastic, hilarious speeches leading into one of the most energetic first dances I have ever filmed. Shooting Lily and Joe’s wedding was one of the highlights of 2022 for myself and it’s safe to say Lily and Joe loved their films…

Award Winning Wedding Videographer // TWIA 2023
SO the second reason Lily and Joe’s wedding will remain a special one for myself is that it is the film I submitted to The 2023 Wedding Industry Awards and the film that helped me win 2023 Best North West Wedding Videographer and Highly Commended in thh National Wedding Videographer of the Year Award. Winning the Wedding Indsutry Awards is hard in any catagory but it’s well known that the North West is a hotbed of wedding talent and winning that region is one of the very toughest in the Wedding Indsutry Awards. To win in 2023, I finished ahead of a one of 2022’s regional highly commended and a previous North West Regional Winner and National Highly Commended filmmaker.
It takes some doing to win North West regionals and once you win a region you are through the National finals in London. Of the eight nominees only two will walk away with an award, so whilst I would have loved to have won, taking the Highly Commended Award in what was my first National Final is still a great achievement. I had to remind myself this is only my third year filming (once you remove the one and a half years of inaction thanks to the pandemic restrictions) so to be so close to National Wedding Videographer of the Year is a testament to how quickly I’ve established myself as a quality wedding film maker. So thanks to Lily and Joe for allowing their film to be submitted to TWIA 2023 and I’ll be back, even better, working even harder to create even more beautiful films.
