Sandhole Oak Barn Wedding Film

Lisa and Adam’s wedding at Sandhole Oak Barn in November was a lovely wedding. Sandhole Oak Barn is a venue in Cheshire I know well from photographing many times there. I was looking forward to returning to film there. It was great to work alongside Andy Griffiths Photography on this wedding. Andy is a pleasure to shoot alongside, his relaxed, natural style compliments my filming perfectly. It was also lovely to see Sarah Meredith during the morning preparation as she was on make up duty for Lisa. Sarah is one of the very best make up artists in Cheshire and her couples love her work. I recommend Sarah to all my wedding clients and it was great to work alongside two great wedding suppliers on Lisa and Adam’s Sandhole Oak Barn wedding.

Beautiful Winter Sun

November weddings can be a little chilly and wet, but Lisa and Adam’s wedding was anything but. You’d be hard pushed to believe it was November. The weather was warm, the sun was out all day long and the guests enjoyed the beautiful weather before and after the wedding service. The sun set over Sandhole Oak Barn is spectacular and myself and Andy timed the couple session to make the most of the beautiful winter sun. The golden hour really was just that and I love the light during the couple session in the film.

Emotional Moments

Lisa and Adam’s wedding was full of emotional moments, starting when Lisa’s father saw her in the dress for the first time. You can see his breath being taken away on the film and the moment where he hugs Lisa is my favourite part of the film. As a father to two young daughters myself, this moment resonates with me and it was a wonderful moment. Having a wedding film is perfect for this reason, those emotional moments are captured forever and everyone else can now see how happy Lisa’s father was. The service and speeches were also emotional, Lisa’s father in particular providing a beautiful, heartfelt speech.
