Hi, I’m James, a Yorkshire wedding videographer who films weddings throughout the U.K. alongside international destination weddings.
However, my wedding films are NOT like everyone else’s and nor should yours. I create authentic, documentary-style wedding films. When you watch your film, you will see, hear and feel all the emotion, happiness and love again, just as you felt it on your wedding day.

Hi, Im James and I’m a documentary style wedding videographer who creates wedding films that look, sound and most importantly, feel like you have stepped back into your wedding day.
My favourite weddings are the ones where I capture the real moments, the emotional beats and your story, because those are the memories you’ll want to relive again and again.

There is no standard definition in the wedding videography world, so you will see different interpretation of what a highlights and feature film is on different websites. My Highlights and Cinematic films are similar in style and edit. They cover the day chronologically and use the ceremony and speeches to narrate the film. My Full Feature Film is all the footage taken on your wedding day, in the order it happened.
My teasers and trailers are highly stylised versions of your wedding, aiming to capture a feeling rather than tell the full story, but to get your excited about our longer films.
My style of wedding videography is absolutely unstaged. I film the day as it happens in a documentary style. I want to create a unique film that takes you back to your wedding day, if moments are staged or setup then your film will not feel real. everything you see on my website and socials, really happened at a real wedding.
Yes, I use small, discreet microphones to capture high quality audio. I aim to record every person who speaks during your ceremony and speeches. I also use the ambient audio from your day. I want your film to look AND sound like your wedding day, using the ambient audio really captures the atmosphere and is one of the reasons my films feel different to many other wedding videos. I only place audio recorders on people during the ceremony and speeches, no one will be expected to wear one all day.
I include all travel and accommodation within my wedding prices. Destination wedding prices are higher as they include 2 nights accommodation and flights as standard.
Yes, I have two of every camera, lens and audio recorder. That way if there are any technical issues, I can continue to film without it impacting my style and coverage.
Yes, I have public liability insurance insurance up to £10 million, professional indemnity insurance and drone insurance. I will provide evidence of this so you can share with your venue/planner.
Drone coverage is included with all my packages, I am a licenced and insured drone pilot. Occasionally venues have restrictions on drone usage (for example if a family live on the venue) or if there are strong winds or rain, flight will not be possible. If I can fly, I will!
I use a company called Vidflow to deliver my films online in 4k UHD. You can download, share and view on mobile, computer and TV’s from Vidflow. They also have a dedicated TV app. Vidflow are online but yu gallery is private and cannot be searched online.
I will provide an update on your expected delivery date a few days after your wedding. I aim to craft the very best film possible and this does take a little time. In peak summer months this can be up to 12 weeks, outside of peak season this can be 6 weeks. I will keep you updated at every stage of the edit so you know exactly when to get a bottle chilling ready for your premiere. I often deliver my films much earlier than expected.
